Use a clear, level, well-lit photo that shows most of one room. A doorway or corner angle usually provides useful context. Avoid very dark, blurry, heavily cropped photos and extreme wide-angle distortion.

Do I have to choose a room type and style?

No. Room type, style, and color palette can all stay on Auto. Choose only the controls that matter to you, then use Details when you have a specific change or must-keep feature in mind.

Will the redesign keep my room recognizable?

The AI designer uses your photo as visual context and aims to keep the camera view and major architectural features recognizable. Furniture, storage, fixtures, and layout may still change between concepts, so include important constraints in Details.

Can I try another direction from the same photo?

Yes. Reuse the same uploaded photo to explore another style, palette, or request. Completed results appear in Generation history so you can compare ideas and download the ones worth keeping.

How are my photos and generated designs handled?

Your files are used to create the designs you request and support previews, history, and downloads. We do not publish them as marketing examples or use them for model training unless that use is separately disclosed or you give permission. ImagineMyHouse is not permanent cloud storage, so download designs you need to keep.
